For gold/rose gold, it is advisable to avoid direct contact with chemicals and wipe it dry as soon as possible to extend the color retention.

For 14k/18k gold plated jewelry, it will not fade, but if the color becomes darker, it can be washed with dish soap to restore the brightness.

Brass/alloy/silver, gold, and rose gold will fade over time. Vacuum plating can keep the color for a period of time, but it is recommended to avoid direct contact with chemicals, flush it less, and dry sweat and moisture in time.
